We are excited to welcome our guests back to Noosa! As the state announces further easing of restrictions we are thrilled to welcome Queensland travellers and travellers from interstate (excluding Victoria currently). Remembering that Queensland businesses are still required to take action to manage COVID-19 and develop plans to enable this.
As such, we have installed specific policies and safety measures at Noosa River Holiday Park to ensure that the facility is Covid-safe for guests, staff and managers.
This means that you can look forward to a great stay at Noosa River Holiday Park, but as with many other businesses, we are implementing some changes to how we operate. New guidelines are currently in place for Noosa River Holiday Park which includes operating at a reduced capacity to ensure we meet with social distancing and social gathering directives.
We are guided by the Queensland Governments - Roadmap to Recovery which oulines how restricitons are being eased in the Sunshine State. We are currently under stage three of the Roadmap which states:
- Queenslanders are allowed unlimited travel throughout the state
- Travellers from other Australian States and Territories (excpet Victoria) may enter Queensland subject to completing and signing a border declaration.
- New Check-In Guidelines are now in place please ensure you have a current drivers licence and a copy of your border pass (if travelling from interstate).
While most cafes, restaurants and other businesses are now operating in the Noosa Shire, some have implemented reduced hours and capacity - we suggest phoning ahead to avoid disappointment.
We appreciate your understanding during this challenging time and look forward to ensuring a great stay with us here at Noosa River Holiday Park.

Historians report that the site of the Noosa River Holiday Park has been used as a camping site since the 1920's. The entire site right up to the waters edge was formally established in 1956 as a Reserve for Camping and Recreation, and in 2009 the State added the Noosa River Holiday Park site to the State Heritage Register, to protect the site and its heritage.
My wife and I stayed here for 1 week and had a wonderful experience. Very clean, gorgeous spot, amazing customer service!! My wife was waiting out at night in the rain for roadside assistance and the owner, Karen, gave her a blanket, rain poncho, and tea to warm her up!! Would definitely stay here again!
Of all the campsites we used on our East coast road trip this was the best in terms of value for money , facilities and location. Definitely the cleanest campsite we have stayed at. Great kitchen, clean bathrooms and the views on the river at sunrise and sunset were amazing.
The perfect place to relax. Sit with a drink by the river and watch the boats go by and the sun go down. Throw in a line or take a 5 minute drive into Noosa Heads. The park is nicely maintained and has recently updated the amenities to a very high standard. 1.00p.m check-in is too late although they seemed a bit more relaxed about that on last visit.
Great location, central to everything but guiet and frriendly atmosphere. What a beautiful destination. The park was not too big , so what every site you had was still very close to the water. Also good access to public transport which was handy for the trip into hasting street.
We always have a great time at Noosa River Holiday Park Has the best camp kitchen with an amazing view of the river And also meet some great fellow travelers here on numerous occasions as we stay here a few times every year
